A boy (3) died in what the police called a "tragic drowning" in California.
Kai Burnaby and his twin brother Liam were found unconscious in the backyard pool of the family's Los Angeles home.
The twins' parents performed CPR on them before they were taken to the hospital.
Kai was pronounced dead at the pediatric trauma center at Northridge Hospital, while his brother continues to fight for his life, the Daily Mail reports.
Authorities responded to the scene around 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 21, after the twins' distraught parents called 911 and tried to revive their sons. Fire officials said they also administered first aid to the babies before EMS arrived on the scene.
LAFD Capt. Kelly Muniz confirmed Kai's death during a news conference Friday and said a crisis team has been made available to support the grieving family following the tragedy.
