"We can't survive without Russian gas" German minister skeptical: "We are not ready for an embargo"

The Minister of Economy and Vice Chancellor of Germany, Robert Habek, stated that the country is not yet ready for a complete embargo on Russian gas.

- For now, Germany does not have the preconditions to successfully spend the winter if Moscow initiates the cessation of gas supplies from Russia - said the Minister and added that the German authorities still have a lot of work to do to stop the supply of Russian energy.

Habek added that Germany has set itself the goal of gradually becoming independent of Russian energy supplies.

Ukraine should not be given false promises of EU membership

Commenting on Ukraine's request for membership in the European Union, the Minister said that the offer to that country to join the EU must not be false and that promises that cannot be fulfilled must not be made.

- In the past, Europe and the European Union made proposals that were not fulfilled. This must not happen again. It is important that the road to the European Union is organized so that it is fair and open, so that Ukraine can step on it and reach the end. It is necessary for the talks on the stages to be quick - said Habek and emphasized that those stages must be "achievable".

On February 28, the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, signed the request for the country's accession to the European Union. The next day, the European Parliament supported a resolution granting Ukraine candidate status.

3 Ways To Keep Your Crypto Safe

Ever seen a message like this?

Scammers send out thousands of fake messages like this every day, and many people fall for them and end up sharing their personal information with scammers, putting their crypto and security at risk.

The truth is that online scams are very common, and one of the reasons for that is because they're easy to orchestrate, but mainly because people fall for them. This is why it benefits you to familiarize yourself with the most common types of scams and how to avoid them.

Here are some good tips:

1. Never share your private keys.

No crypto company, NFT project, or Twitter personality should ever ask for your password, personal information, or private key. Ever!

2. Check website URLs.

Scammers will often build convincing “lookalike” websites at “.org” or “.xyz” domains that trick people into inputting their login credentials or personal information.

3. Keep passwords private.

Avoid taking screenshots of your private key, reusing passwords, or storing recovery phrases in obvious places – like on your desktop.

Some other places where you can find information about how to protect yourself from scams are search engines, like Google, and of course the video site Youtube. Don't neglect your security, it's important!

Take care and stay safe.

What’s the future of cryptocurrency?

With the markets down 50% from their November peak, the question on everyone’s minds is:

Is this cause for concern?

Historically speaking, no, it is not.

Bitcoin and the crypto markets have suffered plenty of massive price drops since their inception. Each time, the market has recovered. When in doubt, zoom out.

What's Coming?

Beyond bitcoin, a number of exciting trends have gained steam in the past few months. Here are the three themes we have our eyes on:

1. Decentralized Autonomous Organizations. DAOs are entities with no central leadership. Decisions get made from the bottom-up via proposals with governance functions like voting performed by the community. DAOs usually organize around a shared purpose or set of values
2. Sustainability. One of the hottest topics for bitcoin advocates and skeptics alike centers on the crypto’s energy consumption. Want to do a deep dive into mining? Learn more by listening to this podcast episode that takes a deep dive into this topic.
3. DeFi. Decentralized Finance created a world of permissionless, blockchain-based financial services allowing for the lending and borrowing of assets without a middle man. DeFi has seen explosive growth, with currently over $75 billion of funds locked in a multitude of ecosystems. Expect DeFi to continue its rapid growth in 2022.

We are still early to cryptocurrency and its infrastructure is being laid out before our eyes.

There is still so much to look forward to in this space and we can’t wait to see what 2022 has in store.

Biden after insulting Putin: I will not apologize, I am not worried that this will lead to an escalation of the conflict

To many, his comments during his stay in Poland seemed to call for regime change in Russia, but the White House later spoke out and denied the allegations.

US President Joe Biden is speaking publicly in the media for the first time after encountering numerous criticisms for the way he spoke about Russian President Vladimir Putin.

- I don't want to apologize for that. "I am not at all worried that my comments could lead to an escalation of the conflict or that they will weaken NATO, as some claim," Biden said.

He then added that with those words he only wanted to express his indignation and that it did not mean that the United States was changing its policy.

- The opinion I expressed then is based on the emotions I felt that day because of that man's actions - the president said.

To many, his comments during his stay in Poland seemed to call for regime change in Russia, but the White House later came forward and denied these claims.

Asked if he was in the mood to talk to Putin, Biden said it would depend on the topic of conversation.

Fiverr review, earn or hire!

Over the years, Fiverr has become a serious business. It is currently ranked as one of the largest freelance platforms and offers a wide range of services.

What is Fiverr?

In short, it is a place where people offer their services starting from $5, which is considered a standard.

On Fiverr you can find literally everything from design for your Facebook or Youtube cover, video intro for your channel, logo or business card design, voiceover, website design, personal assistants and even meaningless gigs like someone singing "happy new year".

From professional services to pointless ones, Fiverr has it all.

Of course for $5 you can hardly expect someone to make you a top site, video presentation and the like but this is just the beginning, prices vary and custom packages are possible where you agree on the price.

Let's say in the range of $5-30 you can get really great graphic works such as logos, banners, Youtube design, Facebook covers, profiles and any graphic work. Fixes for minor bugs on the website or, say, a webview mobile application that, for example, turns your site into a mobile application with the ability to integrate mobile ads or smaller custom solutions.

The possibilities are great depending on what you need, but you need to be realistic in your expectations. For someone who is not experienced in this field and wants to improve his presentation or the service he offers, these are really good prices.

How does Fiverr work?

Like any site, you need to register on it first. Then, depending on whether you offer services or search for a freelancer to hire, you have two options - find a freelancer or place an ad.

Finding a Freelancer:

You can use a search that is really well organized or search by categories for the service you want.

Freelancers are sorted into several categories from beginners to those at top rated levels, and of course the prices vary.

Once you find what you are interested in you can order a service or contact the seller first to talk about the details if you are interested in something beyond the options offered.

When ordering, you are offered additional options offered by the seller as well as filling in all the necessary information to provide you with the highest quality service.

At the end of the order you pay and you wait. Fiverr has extremely good support, so as long as you pay through the fiverr platform you are safe.

Payment options:

• Credit / Debit Cards
• Apple Pay
• Paypal

Offering a service / gig:

By opening a profile on Fiverr you can also sell services. If you have a skill that you want to sell, nothing prevents you from placing an ad.

With the Create a new Gig option, you are asked to fill in all the details of what you're offering. The better and more professionally you create your ad, the greater the chances that someone will contact you and ultimately buy from you. It is desirable to post some examples of past work so that the buyer can see something like a portfolio.

It is definitely recommended that you do not rush and get to know the platform well before placing ads, purely to give yourself the best possible chance. You are not the only one offering services, so try to look serious.

Conclusion

Fiverr is a serious and 100% secure platform whether you are looking to hire a freelancer or selling services in the range of $5-xxxx. I also use it as a customer for some small jobs that take up too much of my time.
