Three people were killed in a shooting at a convenience store in the central part of the US state of Washington, and the suspect is still at large.
Police were called to the scene in the city of Yakima around 12:30 p.m. when three people, who have not yet been identified, were found dead, Police Chief Matt Murray told reporters.
Two victims were shot in the store, and the third in front of it.
The motive is unknown, and the gunman remains a danger to the community, Murray said.
The United States of America was hit by two consecutive mass shootings in the state of California this week, in which 18 people died.
Police collected security camera footage and witness statements from the crime scene and posted a photo of a man in black clothing on social media. He was wearing a hooded top, cap, pants and white shoes.
Yakima is a city of approximately 97,000 residents in an agricultural region known for its wineries and apple growing.
